Second Year Requirements

Program Requirements

  1. Review the AZA email sent to your UA email & complete the program selection form -
    1. Program choices:
      1. Accepting students
        1. Cultural Learning Communities -
        2. First Cats - Sophomore Component -
        3. Fostering Success -
        4. Thrive Guides -
        5. TRiO Student Support Services -
        6. EDGE Peer Mentoring Program -
        7. TRiO Teacher Prep -
      2. The following programs you must already have been enrolled beginning your first year
        1. Blue Chip -
        2. CALS ASEMS -
        3. TRiO ASEMS -
  2. Meet with your academic advisor once in the fall semester AND once in the spring semester AND ask them to sign your online Academic Advisor Form
  3. Complete the program requirement you chose on the program selection form
  4. Attend ONE Financial Wellness Workshop a semester (fall & spring). A calendar will be sent with all the dates and times and you will be able to chose which workshop to attend.

Financial Requirements

  1. File your FAFSA by March 1, 2022 (the FAFSA opens on October 1, 2021 and you will use 2020 tax information)
  2. Make any corrections to your FAFSA by May 1, 2022 (all FAFSA changes must be final by this date)
  3. Remain eligible to receive the Pell Grant (this will be determined by your FAFSA)

Academic Requirements

  1. Complete/pass 48 UA units (units will be check at the end of summer session II)
  2. Maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA (GPA will be checked at the end of summer session II)
